Non-stick coating Silitan is a unique surface developed by Silit researchers. The secret of these pans is the innovatibe hard-prime layer and the 3-ply-non-stick coating. In a complex high-tech procedure, the particles used to make the hard-prime layer are sprayed onto the surface of the pan using plasma beam at twice the speed of sound and at temperatures of up to 20,000°C. In this way, an extremely hard ceramic layer is created which is fused with the basic material. Then the specially developed 3-ply coating is applied to the surface. The result is a unique coating which is extremely smooth and resistant against mechanical abrasion.
Durable and wear-resistant
Silitan has set new standards in terms of durability, scratch-proofness and wear-resistance. Even slightly visible scratches have no influence on the effect of the Silitan coating. Nothing sticks - nothing gets burnt on..
Low-fat cooking and frying
Silitan non-stick coating is ideal for healthful cooking because you need only a little fat. Foods slide gently out of the pan onto the plate.
Hygienic – easy to clean
Thanks to the seamless non-stick coating there are no places for unhygienic food residues to hide. Simply rinse with warm water and wipe with paper towel.
